Tammy Kathryn Halsey

March 5, 1962 — September 16, 2013

Tammy Kathryn Faw Halsey, 51, of Fairlane Drive, Bluefield, VA passed away on Monday, September 16, 2013 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center in Bluefield. Born on March 5, 1962 in Havre de Grace Maryland, she was a daughter of Tam Faw, Jr. and Kathryn Krondon Faw of Bluefield, VA., the wife and best friend of Dan Halsey. She was a retired marketing and PR director, who after retirement assisted her husband in a number of family investments. She was our angel, our rock and our little girl, doing so much for so many. A very high energy young lady that always took perfection and caring to the next level. She attended Graham High School where she excelled in basketball, becoming Graham's first 1,000 point player, thus leading to being offered scholarships to play for several major colleges, but instead she chose to stay in Bluefield and attend and play at Bluefield State, where she received her degree in Marketing and Public Relations. Her favorite number was "21", her jersey number in High School and College, and had to have the last word as evidenced by her passing at 8:21 p.m. During her career she was very active within the Bluefield communities and thus was very well-known, loved and respected throughout the community. She has left a void in so many of our hearts that will be absolutely impossible to fill, we already miss her greatly.... Survivors include: Husband: Daniel T.
