Gloria Ann Clower

Gloria Ann Clower, 72, of Tabernacle Hill, Montcalm, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital with a beautiful smile on her face from this life into the loving arms of her Savior Jesus, surrounded by family that love and will miss her so very much. Born on September 7, 1940 in Piedmont, WV, she was a daughter of the late Ward Brown and Iva Levon Kegley Catron. She had been a resident of Montcalm for 50 years and was the owner and operator of Gloria’s Beauty Shop in Montcalm. She was of the Pentecostal faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Robert L. Clower; brothers, Charles, Jack and Bob Catron; and sisters, Betty Catron, Linda Carden; and a great granddaughter, Nevaeh Justice. Survivors include: Children: Mary Waller and Doug Waller of Roanoke, VA Pamela Neese and John Neese, Jr. of Bluefield Nancy Clower and Matthew Prudich of Montcalm Robert Clower and Melissa of Montcalm Sonny Clower of Montcalm In laws: Kim Hunter and Danny Justice Grandchildren: April Nolan, Stephanie Stewart, John Neese, III, Kevin Neese, Cory Neese, Courtney Neese, Tiffany Bailey, Summer Justice, Stormy Justice, Misty Albarati, Autumn Busick, Haley Clower, Josh Clower, Benji Clower, Lauren Clower, and Laken Sisk Great grandchildren: Emily and Nathan Nolan, Brady Stewart, Isabella, Julianna and Kristilyn Bailey, Ava Neese, Adam Albarati, Eden Collins Brother: Larry Catron and wife Bridgett of Matoaka Sisters: Bonnie Agnew and Roger Agnew of Matoaka Carol Holbrook of TX Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Gary Jakes officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where John Neese, III, Cory Neese, Mike Nolan, Jonathan Stewart, Tony Bond and Jason Mills will serve as pallbearers.
