Shirley Turner

Shirley Gaynell Taylor, age 73, of Quinwood, WV, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Charleston Area Medical Center. Born on January 23, 1940 in Norfolk, VA, she was a son of the late Hubert and Margaret Howlett. She had been a resident of Quinwood for 5 years and was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: Husband: James Wilson Taylor of Bluefield 4 sons: Phillip Taylor of NC Patrick Taylor of Oxford, NC Presley Taylor of Bluefield Paul Taylor of Durham, NC 2 daughters: Phyllis Catron of Bluefield Patrice Taylor of Bluefield 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 1:30 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. R. C. Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with family serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Wednesday from 12:30-1:30 PM at the funeral home.
