BECKLEY-Christopher Paul Bell 44 formerly of Elkhorn, WV went to be with the Lord on August 1, 2013 at his home in Beckley, WV Born September 7,1969 in Bluefield WV he was the son of Paul and Dana Bell of Bluewell, WV and Don and Cynthia Chastain of Taccoa, Ga. He was preceded in death by his great grandmother Leola Peters, his maternal grandparents, Toby and Jeanette Doss and his paternal grandparents Steve Bell and Alice Bell Sayers. He was of the Christian faith. He was a avid sports fan and enjoyed playing basketball, golf, and bowling. He loved to watch the Pittsburgh Steelers. Left to cherish his memory other than his parents is his lifelong partner of 21 yrs. Tina Hicks Bell of Beckley, WV , two step children whom he raised, Andrew Ryan Barker of Laurel MD, Ashley Jordan Simms of Beckley, WV , a sister Amy Bell of Bluefield, WV, two nieces Alyssa Colo and Ashley Hayton and husband Travis. A nephew Christopher Tyler East .A grandaughter, Aaleyha Barker, of Laurel MD. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday August 4, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel, Bluewell, WV with Rev. Olen Robertson and Rev. Lacy Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Pallbearers will be Kenny Hollyfield, Travis Hayton, Justin Rogers, and Brian Shannon.
