Ivory Alberta Curran

Ivory Alberta Curran, age 76, of Methodist Hill Road, Montcalm, WV, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at her home. Born on March 20, 1937 in Bluefield, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Annie Workman Harman. She had been a resident of Montcalm for 55 years and was a member of the Pine Grove Church of Christ. She was retired from food service, where she formerly worked at St. Luke’s Hospital and at GlenWood Park Retirement Village. Survivors include: Sons: James Curran, Jr. of Montcalm John Curran and Melissa of Rock Hill, SC Daughters: Sherry Bannon and Kevin of Charlotte, NC 4 grandchildren: Todd Curran Lovell, Aimee Curran, Madison Curran, and Garrett Curran great grandchild: Aaron Cash Lovell Brothers: Lewis Harman of Bluewell Arnold Harman and Diane of Bluewell Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Minister Gary Lamie officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with Tedd Webb, Austin Linkous, Jason Harman, Howard Beaston, Melvin Proffitt, and Mark Lester serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
