James Owen Lusk

James Owen Lusk, age 72, of Vista Road, Bluefield, WV died on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at his home. Born on May 12, 1941 in Algoma, WV, he was a son of the late Emmer Theodore and Irene Zelma Hall Lusk. He worked as a mine foreman and later as a mine security guard. He had been a resident of Bluefield for the past 10 years and was formerly of Crumpler, WV. He loved hunting, fishing , gardening and the outdoors. Survivors: Sons: Keith Lusk and wife Pamela of Worthville, KY Marcus Lusk of Woodstock, GA Daughter: Angela Barton and husband Terry of Princeton, WV Companion Shelby Lane of Princeton Stepfather: Harry Anderson of Brushfork, WV Brother: Ronnie Lusk and wife Joann of Princeton, WV Sisters: Peggy Belcher and husband Elder Thurman Belcher of Princeton, WV Judy Hatfield and husband Denver of Marlinton, WV Stepbrothers: Harry Paul Anderson and Tina of Baton Rouge, LA Johnny Anderson and Teresa of Crumpler, WV Grandchildren: Derick Barton and wife Jennifer of Princeton, WV Jessica Bason and husband Bryndon of Floyd, VA Abigail Lusk of Worthville, KY Step-Grandchildren: Heather Lee and husband Kenny of Princeton, WV Michael Morgan of Stockbridge, GA Terry Barton, Jr. and wife Leah of Bluewell, WV Great-Grandchildren: Tyler Barton, Sebella Barton, Randa Barton, Rayne Lee and Aolani Bason Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 12:00 Noon at the Sweet Home Baptist Church in Princeton with Elder Thurman Belcher and Rev. Joe Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Friends may call on Friday evening from 6-8 PM at the church.
