Esther Finley

Esther Mezaros Finley, 99, of Coppola Mobile Home Park (Brushfork), Bluefield, WV, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Mercer Nursing and Rehab in Bluefield. Born on August 8, 1913, she was a daughter of the late Steve and Esther Wind Mezaros. She had been a longtime resident of Bluefield and was formerly of Thorpe. She was looking forward to celebrating her 100th birthday next month. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Luther W. Finley; 2 brothers, Steve and Lewis; and three sisters, Susie, Ethel and Helen. Survivors include her caregiver, Bill Punturi of Bluefield and several close friends. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 11:00 at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. James Bassett officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Friends may call on Wednesday from 10-11 AM at the funeral home.
