Rufus Jackson Keller

Rufus Jackson Keller, age 51, of 501 Lazenby Avenue, Princeton, WV died on Friday, July 5, 2013 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born on July 23, 1961,in Welch WV, he was a son of the late William and Gladys Skeens Keller. He was of the Church of God Faith. He was a special person and was loved and adored by his family. He had been ill for a very long time but fought a strong, brave battle. He was cared for by his sister, Carol. He will be sincerely missed. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Joseph and Frank Keller; and a sister, Jackie Kish. Survivors include: Brothers: William Keller of Bramwell, WV Alfred Jiggs Keller of Bramwell, WV Lacy Keller of Montcalm, WV Skinner Keller of Route 20, Bluefield, WV Earnest Keller of Louisville, KY Ernie Keller of Pocahontas, VA John Keller of Pocahontas, VA Douglas Keller of Jacksonville, FL Danny Keller of Bastian, VA Sisters: Cora Kimball of Florida Verta Newman of Northfork, WV Carol Watkins of Littlesburg Road, Bluefield, WV Dianna Baker of Montcalm, WV Sue Grossi of Littlesburg Road, Bluefield, WV Best Friends: Rick Ford and Ricky Sayers Numerous nephews and nieces Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 4:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. David Kirby officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell . Serving as pallbearers will be James LaVake, Allen Keller, James Keller, Tommy Farmer, Austin LaVake, and Mark Quesinberry. Friends may call on Monday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home.
