Rosie Marie Lockhart

Rosie Marie Lockhart, age 82, of Laurel Drive, Gary, WV died on Friday, July 5, 2013 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born on July 9, 1930 in Elbert, WV, she was a daughter of the late David Lee and Pearlie Mae Bryant Peak. She had lived McDowell County her entire life and was a devoted wife and mother. She was of the protestant faith. She was preceded in death by 2 sons, William Larry Lockhart and Willie Lane Lockhart. Survivors: Husband: Walter Lockhart, Sr. of the home Sons: Walter Lockhart, Jr. and wife Lana of Georgia Wallace Lockhart and wife Mary Dawn of Welch, WV Daughters: Donna Myers and husband Andy of Florida Helen Clemins of Gary, WV Sister: Grace Hazelwood of Princeton, WV Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 12:00 Noon at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. David Bergeron officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may call on Tuesday from 10:30 – 12:00 Noon at the funeral home prior to the service.
