Michael Wayne “Mike” Brewster, age 61, of 247 Warden Avenue (Bluewell) Bluefield, WV died on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born on January 15, 1952, in Bluefield, he was a son of the late Mack and Mollie Proffitt Brewster. He had lived in Bluewell for the past 9 years and was a retired painter. He was a member of the True Vine Fellowship Church in Bluewell. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the US Army. Brewster of Illinois Terry Brewster of Bluefield, WV Sisters: Sandra Brewster of Bluefield, WV Regina Trapp of Bluefield, WV Nancy Blackwell of Bluefield, WV 3 grandchildren Rickie Lentes, Nichile Lentes, Jeanna Gilarski 1 great- grandchild Jordan Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Danny Scott officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Bluefield, VA. Where his grandson and family will be serving as pallbearers and the West Virginia Honor Guard will be conducting Military Graveside Rites.
