Laura E. "Liz" Henry

Laura Elizabeth “Liz” (Maxey) Henry, 67, of Lashmeet, WV passed away on Monday, June 24, 2013. Liz is survived by Darryl, her husband of 42 years, their children, Chad of Virginia, Travis of New York and Chism of Alaska, and by their grandchildren, Cailin and Carson. Liz graduated from Spanishburg High School and Concord College before earning an advanced degree from West Virginia COGS. She worked many years for Mercer County Schools as a high school math teacher and vice principal. Memorial donations may be made to the Alliance for Lupus Research at www.lupusresearch.org.
