Adena Ruth Brady

Bluefield, WV- Adena Ruth Stevens Brady, 86, of 279 Fellowship Street, Bluefield, WV, passed away Saturday June 22, 2013 in a Bluefield hospital after a brief illness. Born December 29, 1926 in McComas, WV she was a daughter of the late Charles William “Bill” and Ocie Graham Stevens. Mrs. Stevens was a member of the Montcalm Pentecostal Holiness Church and had been a resident of Bluewell for the past three years and was formerly of Collinsville, VA. She was a graduate of McComas High School and was retired from Bassett Walker Company in Bassett, VA. In addition to her parents , she was preceded in death by her husband; Johnny Brady in 2010, an infant son; Roger Dale Brady, a brother; Randall Stevens, a sister; Lorraine Stevens Freeman, two infant brothers; Kenneth Lee Stevens and Billy Ray Stevens. Survivors include: A brother; David Stevens and wife Marquetta of Bluewell Three sisters; Macie Helmandollar and husband Bobby of Lorton Lick Road Judy McGhee and husband Aubrey of Bluewell Brenda Bowers and husband Charlie of Laurel, MD Special nephew; Keith Ragan and family of Henry, VA And lots of nieces and nephews Funeral services for Mrs. Brady will be conducted Tuesday June 25, 2013 at 1:00P.M. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel located in Bluewell with the Rev. Larry Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery located in Princeton. Serving as Pallbearers will be family members.
