Earl Edward Finley

Earl Edward Finley, age 57, of 304 Mountain Meadows Drive, Bessemer City, NC died on Tuesday May 14, 2013 at CaroMont Medical Center in Gastonia, NC. Born on October 3, 1955 in Ohio, he was the only son of the late Earl Edward Finley, Sr. and Georgia Rose Finley. He had spent time in McDowell County but had lived in North Carolina for most of his life. He was an avid golfer and was a loving and devoted grandfather. Survivors: His long time companion: Gail King of the home Step-Daughters: Carmen Turner of Stanley, NC Catherine Lunsford of Granite Falls, NC 3 step-grandchildren Funeral services will be held on Monday May 20, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Omar Burns officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA where his family and friends will be serving as pallbearers. Friends may call from 11:00 AM til 1:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the service at the funeral home.
