Tessie Mae Moore, age 87, of 2190 Shadetree Circle, Princeton, WV, passed on to meet our Lord and Savior on Friday evening, May 3, 2013 at the Maples Nursing Home in Bluefield. Born on March 28, 1926, she had celebrated 87 long years on this earth. She had been a resident of Green Valley for 38 years and was of the Catholic Faith. She was a homemaker. She grew up in Bramwell and formerly worked for Aratex, Maidenform and Moore’s Building Supply. Her hobbies included knitting and crocheting, and bowling. She was a lover of flowers and had a green thumb. She was an avid NASCAR fan and loved WVU football. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Moore, Jr.; mother, Mary Hopstock Kosinar; father, Anton Kosinar; sisters, Vera Suhadolnik, Helen Kosinar and Irene Kosinar; brothers, Anton Kosinar, Sam Kosinar, and Leonard (Tony) Kosinar, and Mike Kosinar. Survivors include: Daughters: Susan Akers of Peterstown Nancy Horton of Durhing Grandchildren: Jeffery Horton and Christy Baker Sara Nicole Ballard and Adam Crystall Sadler and John Tammy Lynn Akers and Chris Briley Great Grandchildren: Courtney Lockett McKenzie Sadler and Dawson Sadler Christina (Christy) Bircham Dominick (Nikki) Briley and Devon Briley A loved step-great grandson, Christian Ballard Sisters: Mary Eaton and husband Earl of OH Martha Zelko of OH Louise Taress of OH Faye Catania of FL Brothers: George Kosinar and Nancy of OH Bill Kosinar and Susan of Bluefield 2 sisters in law: Pat Kosinar of OH Jenny Kosinar of Bluefield Aunt: Margaret Carver of Coopers Several nieces and nephews Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, May 6, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Albert Jarrels officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where Jeff Horton, Nikki Briley, Devon Briley, Dawson Sadler, Chris Briley, John Sadler, Eddie Lockett, and will be serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Sunday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
