George "Andy" Andrew Rutherford

George Andrew “Andy” Rutherford 70 of Cheesy Creek Road Princeton, West Virginia passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Princeton Community Hospital. Andy was born on December 01, 1942 in Saltville, Virginia to the late George Nelson and Mary Elizabeth Bower Rutherford. Andy was a retired coal miner and was a former employee of Eastern Vault. He served his country in the United States Navy and had been a lifelong resident of Mercer County. Survivors Include: Two Sons: Brian Rutherford and wife Kristin of Charlotte, North Carolina Derck Myers of Princeton, West Virginia One Daughter: Deborah Williams of Bland, Virginia Four Granddaughters: Erin Rutherford of Charlotte, North Carolina Jordan Rutherford of Charlotte, North Carolina Emily Williams of Bland, Virginia Holly Williams of Bland, Virginia Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 03, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield, West Virginia with Rev. Danny Shortridge officiating the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluefield, West Virginia where friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
