Joseph Wade Sexton, age 46, of Freeman, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at the Kindred hospital in Chattanooga, TN.
Born on January 30, 1967 in Bluefield, he was a son of Alvin and Eunice Sexton on Freeman. He had been a lifelong resident of Freeman and was a 1985 graduate of Bramwell High School. He also attended Bluefield State College, the Mercer County Technical College and went to school in Charleston for training in computers and electronics. He was of the Baptist faith, liked deer hunting and fishing with family and friends and was a member of the NRA. He enjoyed Facebook, the WV Mountaineers, the Eagles and the Steelers. He most enjoyed his computers and had built and repaired many for his friends and family. He lost his right leg as a teenager but did not let that get him down. He lived life to the fullest.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hobert and Louise Sexton; and Hazel Lester.

Parents: Alvin and Eunice Sexton of the home
Brother: Roger Sexton of the home
Fiancé: Donna Watkins of Bramwell
Aunt and Uncle: Larry and Brenda Farthing of Nemours.
Several nieces, nephews, and cousins
Many friends and family including several aunts and uncles from his mother’s side
It was Joseph’s wishes to be cremated. Friends may call on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 from 6-8 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell.
