Anna Jean Mitchem

Montcalm, WV- Anna Jean Mitchem, 75, of Methodist Hill, Montcalm, passed away Friday April 26, 2013 at Bluefield Regional medical Center. Born September 5, 1937 in Cherokee, WV, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Lilly May Nichols. Mrs. Mitchem was a member of the Montcalm Church of God and a devoted homemaker and retired from the Kroger Deli in Bluewell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Alvis Mitchem and a brother; William Nichols. Survivors include; Two sons: Bishop Albert Mitchem and wife Amanda of Colliers, WV and Garland Beggs and wife Janet of Gatesville, TX Daughter: Cindy Rose and husband David of Princeton, WV Brother: Junior Nichols of OK Five grandchildren: Christe, Valerie, Jared, Alyssa, and Hannah One great-grandchild: Colton Funeral services for Mrs. Mitchem will be conducted Tuesday April 30, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with the Bishop Albert Mitchem and Pastor Darryl Christian officiating. Burial will follow at the Woodlawn memorial Park cemetery located in Bluewell. Serving the family as pallbearers will be family and friends.
