Denver Kiser Alexander 70 of Carolina Ave. Bluefield, WV passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Westwood Medical Center in Bluefield, VA. Denver was born on April 16, 1942 in War, WV to the late Denver K. Alexander Sr. and Gertrude Crigger Alexander. He was a retired store clerk for Kroger’s. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Corenia Trent Alexander; and 2 daughters, Judy Mullins and Tammy Neel. He was a huge WVU athletic fan. Survivors Include: Sons: Donnie Lester of Bluefield, WV Denver Alexander, III and wife Donna of Fredericksburg, VA Anthony “Tony” Alexander and wife Anita of Bluefield, WV David Alexander and wife Leslie of Bremen, AL Michael Neel of the home Daughters: Patricia Broyles and husband Melvin of Bluefield, WV Billie Jean Rose and husband Franklin of Kimball, WV Tina Alexander of Bluefield, WV Sherry Belcher and husband Doug of Durhing, WV DeAnna Mounts and husband Jeremy of Bluefield, WV Brother: Joseph B. Alexander of Silver Springs, MD 29 Grandchildren, 23 Great-Grandchildren, and 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Chaplain C. T. Lilly officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA. Serving as pallbearers will be Denver Alexander, III, Anthony Alexander, David Alexander, H.C. Alexander, Michael Neel, and Tommy Joe Wilson. Friends may call on Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. The family is accepting online condolences at www.cravens-shires.com.
