Helen Joyce Fowler

Helen Joyce Fowler, age 73, of 500 Ingleside Road, Bluefield, formerly of Thorpe, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born on January 25, 1940 in Welch, she was a daughter of the late coy and Irma Fowler of Thorpe. She had been a resident of Ingleside Road for 9 years where she lived with her cousin and care provider, Sharon Wills. Helen was a member of the Wilcoe Church of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers. Survivors include: Three Sisters: Phyllis Mikels of Princeton Doris Hensley of Skygusty Brenda Fowler of Bluefield Brother: Russell Fowler of Bluefield Two Nieces: Debbie Mikels Sexton and husband Allen of Princeton Cynthia Hensley Turner of Bedford, VA Two Nephews: Max Mikels and wife Phyllis of Bastian, VA Gary Hensley, Jr. of Orlando, FL 2 Great Nephews: Austin and Chandler Turner Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Jerry Graham officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
