Mary Louise Harmon Taylor Smothers, age 87, of 121 Bailey Hollow Road, Princeton, WV, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at her home. Born on September 22, 1925 in Montcalm, she was a daughter of the late Rev. Andrew Harmon and Mamie Harmon. She had been a resident of Princeton for 53 years and was a member of the Princeton Church of God. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sons, Eugene and Glenn Taylor; 2 sisters, Gladys Lowe and Gertrude Jordan; and 3 brothers, Russell, JD, and Ray Harmon. Louise is survived by her: Husband: Fred Smothers of Bluefield 1 daughter who was her caregiver: Phyllis Robinette of the home 1 son: James Taylor of Princeton Former Husband: John Taylor of Princeton 10 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren 1 brother: James Harmon of Winston-Salem, NC 2 sisters: Eilene Harris and Henry of TX Shirley Fink and Carl of FL Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Stanley Metz officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with grandsons and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Wednesday from 12-1 at the funeral home.
