Peggy June Bailey

Peggy June Bailey 82 of Mountain Ash Drive Bluefield, WV went to be with her LORD on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at her daughter’s home. Born April 15, 1930 in Thornhill, she was the daughter of the late Harry Stone Griffith and the late Sue Hodges Griffith. Peggy was a High School Graduate and attended both Bramwell and Montcalm High Schools. She was of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith. Peggy retied from Hills Department Store and then reentered the work force to work for Ames Department Store. Earlier in her life she worked for Duhring Post Office. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Bailey, Sisters; Lucille Richards and Elsie Gilmore, Brothers; Boyd and Coy Griffith and one granddaughter Kimberly Hope Thomason. Survivors Include: Three Children: Darlene Thomas and husband Wayne Princeton, WV Beverly Lafferty Bluefield, WV Darrell B. Bailey and wife Carrie of Bluefield, WV One Bother: Blaine Griffith of Indian One Sister: Nina Farmer of Bluefield, WV She is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren Graveside service will be held on Monday, February 25, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at Roselawn Memorial Gardens of Princeton, WV with Minister Martha Boyd officiating the graveside service. Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Thomason, Joshua Bailey, Brandon Bailey, Justin Lafferty, Wayne Thomas and Jonathan Milton.
