Irene Martin Poff, age 91, of Camellia Drive (Bluewell), Bluefield, WV, passed away on Monday, February 18, 2013 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center.
Born on May 7, 1921 in Summersville, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Rosetta O’Dell Martin. She had been a resident of Bluewell for 55 years and was a member of the Bluewell United Methodist Church where she enjoyed quilting with the Quilting Club. She was also a member of the Gleaners Sunday School Class. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Everette C. “Pat” Poff; a granddaughter, Jessika Morgan; two sisters and 3 brothers. She was the last surviving member of her family

Son: Coy Poff and wife Julie of Charlotte, NC
Grandson: Brandon Poff
3 great-grandchildren: Bryson Poff, Hunter Morgan, and Sidney Morgan
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 10:30 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Steve Rector officiating. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Princeton with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Friends may call on Thursday from 9:30-10:30 at the funeral home.
