Clarence David “Dean” Music, age 62, of 63 Houston Hill, Elkhorn (PO Box 26, Northfork), passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.
Born on February 9, 1950 in Mingo County, he was a son of Cynthia Justus of Fairfield Lane and the late Clarence Lane Music. He was a retired coal miner and truck driver and had lived in McDowell County most of his life.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Louella Mae Christian Music and stepmother, Martha Lane.

5 brothers: Bobby Music, Jerry Lane, Sammy Lane, Jimmy Lane, and Red Musick
3 sisters: Ilene Lane, Ilene Graham, and Janie Justus.
Special sister in law Mary Napier and her son Donald, who was like a son to Clarence
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at 2:00 PM the Ark of Safety Church in Roderfield with Pastor Martin West officiating. Burial will follow at the Christian Cemetery in Roderfield with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Friends may call on Sunday from 12:00-2:00 at the Church.
