Bluefield- William “ Bill” Davidson, 99, of 2809 Kirk St., Bluefield, WV, went to be with his Lord after a beautiful life, following a brief illness on Wednesday December 5, 2012.
Born February 28, 1913, Mr. Davidson was a veteran of WW II having served in the U.S. Army, a Well Driller and retired from the Wildwood Texaco service station in Salem, VA.
Survivors include a granddaughter; Sharon Stump Skidmore of Bluefield, WV, four great- grandchildren; David, Andrew, Elvis, Westley, one great- great-granddaughter; Madison, and also special friends; Steve and Melissa Coppolo, and the Kenebrew Family.
Funeral services for Mr. Davidson will be conducted Saturday December 8, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel. A private burial will follow at the Blueridge Memorial Gardens Cemetery located in Roanoke, VA on Monday December 10, 2012.
Friends may call at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home on Saturday December 8, 2012 from 2:00 P.M. until time of services.
