Robert Dewayne Kidwell

Robert Dewayne Kidwell, Sr. 55, of 613 Havaco Drive Welch, West Virginia passed away on Thursday, November 01, 2012 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia. Robert was born on Monday, October 14, 1957 in McDowell County, West Virginia to the late Nancy Lockhart Kidwell and William Kidwell. He had been a resident of Welch for most of his life. He served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the VFW. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters; Rhonda Kidwell and Elizabeth Kidwell. Survivors Include: His wife: Kitty Curry Kidwell of the home Three Sons: Robert Kidwell, II and wife Amber of Wooster, Ohio Mark Kidwell and wife Sarah of Princeton, West Virginia William Kidwell and wife Kerri of Springville, Virginia Two Brothers: Jeffery Kidwell and wife Jessich of Lashmeet, Virginia Clark Kidwell and wife Nicole of Novi, Michigan One Sister: Cynthia Green and husband Winston of Pocahontas, Virginia Three Grandchildren: Lorelai, Collin and Liam Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 06, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home 3431 Coal Heritage Road Bluefield, West Virginia with Rev. Dean Hatfield officiating the service. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, West Virginia where friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
