Lois L. Proffitt

On October 31, 2012, Lois L. Nipper Proffitt, age 80, of 2427 Bull Tail Hollow Road, Bluefield, WV, was called home by God, after a short illness. She was surrounded by family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, William J. and Sally J. Nipper; her husband, Wilson (Pug) Proffitt; her much loved son, Michael Proffitt; and her grandson, Dwayne Proffitt. She is survived by her loving family Timmy and wife Iris of Lerona; Bucky Proffitt and wife Billie of the home; Jane Belcher of Princeton; Wilson Proffitt and wife Sharon of Glenwood; sister, Sadie Proffitt of Princeton; grandchildren, Michelle Proffitt, Timmy Proffitt, Jr., Lynette Sparks, Eddie Belcher, Suzanne Sutphin, Stevie Proffitt, Cassie and Hunter Proffitt; 17 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Friends are invited to the celebration of her life on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 11:00-1:00 at the Deliverance Temple Church in Brushfork with the funeral following at 1:00PM. Rev. David Kirby will officiate. Burial will follow at the Nunn Family Cemetery on Bull Tail Hollow Road, Bluefield, with Stevie Proffitt, Dakota Sparks, Nick Sutphin, Timmy Proffitt, Jr., Zack Proffitt, Robert Snider, Tony Butler, Calvin Proffitt, and Jason Chandler will serve as pallbearers. Dennis Proffitt and Tommy Proffitt will serve as honorary pallbearers.
