Mona Kay Duncan

Mona Kay Duncan, age 56, of Newberry, South Carolina, formerly of Bluefield, WV died on Monday, September 24, 2012 at Providence Hospital in Columbia, SC. Born on March 6, 1956 in Tazewell County, VA, she was a daughter of the late Patton and Lona Underwood Van Dyke. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She had lived in South Carolina for the past 10 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sons, Daniel and Roy Osborne. Survivors: Husband: Michael W. Duncan of the home Son: Chris Burley of Lashmeet, WV Daughter: Miracle Osborne of Springville, VA Brothers: Keith Van Dyke of Jewell Ridge, VA Jackie Van Dyke of Chester, SC Sisters: Jenny Louthan of Chester, SC Michelle Van Dyke of Grundy, VA Regina Louthan of Indianapolis, IN Grandchildren: Devyn, Timothy and Logan Several nieces and nephews Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Friends may call on Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 AM the morning of the service.
