Hazel Virginia Rogers

MONTCALM, WV---Hazel Virginia Rogers, age 82, of P.O. Box 493 Montcalm, WV (McComas) passed away Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Mercer Nursing and Rehab in Bluefield, WV. Born November 20, 1929 at McComas, WV she was the daughter of the late John O. and Virginia Belle Gills Rogers. Ms. Rogers was a retired cook and was a member of the Pentecostal Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded death by two brothers, James Marvin Rogers and Arnold Rogers. Survivors include, One brother, Larmer Rogers and wife Ruby of McComas, WV Three sisters, Juanita Rogers of the Home Mildred Purdy and husband Ronald of Sneedville, TN Elsie Pergeau and husband Albert of Hazel Park, MI Graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton, WV with Rev. Gregory Hatfield officiating. Friends may call Tuesday, September 25, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV.
