Drema Sue Banks

Drema Sue Banks, age 61, of 700 Garland Street, Princeton, WV, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at the Mercer Nursing and Rehab Center. Born on October 27, 1950 in Beckley, she was a son of Roscoe “Elmer” Brown of Princeton and the late Wilma June Sheets Brown. She had been a resident of Princeton for 5 years and formerly lived in Dallas, TX. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Brown. Survivors include: Father: Roscoe “Elmer” Brown of Princeton 1 son: Jackie Wayne Hurd and wife Magdalena of Bluefield 3 loving grandchildren: Joseph Aguilar, Zachary Hurd, and Nathaniel Hurd 1 brother: Roger Brown and wife Helen of Chicago, IL Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. James Milam officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA. Friends may call on Thursday prior to services from 12:00-1:00 PM at the funeral home.
