Evelyn “Louise” Auton, 83, of Rt. 3 Box 333 Bluefield, WV, passed away Friday September 7, 2012 at The Maples Nursing Home in Bluefield. Born July 9, 1929 in Ennis, WV, she was a daughter of the late Irvin and Wancie Sells Lambert. Mrs. Auton was of the Baptist faith and was a devoted homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband; Edward Knight, second husband; Jim Auton, a daughter; Teresa Auton, and a brother; James Lambert.
Survivors include, two sons; William Edward Knight of Welch, WV, James Luther Knight of Bluefield, WV, three daughters; Vickie Lunsford and husband Keith of Bluefield, WV, Janis Ollis of Bluefield, WV, Connie Jean Wilmer of Bluewell, WV, three sisters; Mae Tabor of Ohio, Countess Harrison of Salem, VA, Margaret Meade of Radford, VA, nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services for Mrs. Auton will be conducted Tuesday September 11, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with Rev. David Kirby officiating.
Friends may call at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell on Tuesday September 11, 2012 from 10:00 AM until time of services.
