Corenia Alexander

Bluefield- Corenia Alexander, 80, of 914 Carolina Ave., Bluefield, WV passed away Tuesday August 21, 2012 at a Bluefield hospital. Born January 4, 1932 in Longpole, WV, she was a daughter of the late Fleming and Lucy Damron Trent. Mrs. Alexander had been a resident of Bluefield since 1984 and was a member of the Miracle Valley Pentecostal Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Alexander was preceded in death by; two daughters, Judy Mullins, and Tammy Neel, a brother; Eugene Trent, a sister; Marline Boyer, and a granddaughter; Donna Thomas. Survivors include her husband; Denver Kiser Alexander, of the home, five sons; Fleming Alexander and companion Carolyn Fuller of Bluefield, WV, Michael Neel also of Bluefield, Denver Alexander and wife Donna of Fredericksburg, VA, Anthony “Tony” Alexander and wife Anita also of Fredericksburg, VA, and David Alexander and wife Leslie of AL, six daughters; Tina Alexander of Bluefield, WV, Sherry Belcher and husband Doug of Montcalm, WV, Billie Jean Rose and husband Franklin of Kimball, WV, Patricia Broyles and husband Melvin of Bluefield, WV, DeAnna Mounts and husband Jeremy of Bluefield, WV, and Darlene Seal of Bluefield, WV, two brothers; Ralph Trent and wife Rita of Gilbert Creek, WV, and Bill Trent and wife Roseanne of Manassas, VA, two sisters; Patsy Dillion and husband Everette of Welch, WV, and Cassie Richardson of Nags Head, NC, twenty-nine grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Alexander will be conducted from the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluefield, WV on Friday, August 24, 2012 at 1:00 pm with the Pastor Sandy Whittaker officiating. Burial will follow in the Grandview Memory Gardens Cemetery located in Bluefield, VA. Serving the family as pallbearers will be; Shannon Mullins, Jimmy Osborne, Scott Rodriguez, Cody Church, Victor Parks, Donald Tucker, and Gary Rakes.
