James Timothy "Timmy" Howell

PETERSTOWN,WV--- James Timothy “Timmy” Howell, age 52, of Peterstown, WV passed away Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born February 4, 1960 in Knoxville, TN he was the son of the late James H. and Doris Phillips Howell. Tim was a US Navy Veteran and was employed with J and N Trucking in Peterstown. He was a past member and had served as Lieutenant of the Ballard Volunteer Fire Department. Tim also worked as the Flagman at the Cashmere Speedway in Cashmere, WV. Survivors include Three sisters, Jackie Bobbitt Morris and husband David of Vinton, VA Tina Heaton and Husband Dave of Trinity, NC Tammy Simmons and husband Mark of Hardy, VA Three nieces, Jamey Moorehead and Boyfriend Craig Herndon Katie and Kristen Heaton One nephew, Shane Bobbitt and wife Chelsea One great niece, Holley Moorehead One great nephew, Harrison Wilhelm Special companion, Kathy Meadows of Peterstown, WV and her daughters, Jerrica Baker and Husband Josh of Oakvale, WV and Sara Blankenship and husband Boone and their children Evan and Maggie of Ballard, WV Special Friends Sonny and Betty Brown of Ballard, WV Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Ballard Volunteer Fire Department in Ballard, WV. In honoring Tim’s wishes following visitation he will be cremated. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 26, 2012 at the Cashmere Speedway race track in Cashmere, WV.
