Clyde Milton Parrish, Sr., age 73, of 168 May Street, Pocahontas, VA died on Thursday July 26, 2012 at Golden Age Care Center in Claypool Hill, VA.
Born on December 27, 1938 in Tazewell, VA, he was a son of the late Casper and Cathleen Nease Parrish. He had lived in Pocahontas his entire life and was a member of the Pocahontas Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the US Army. He was in charge of maintenance at the Princeton Pocahontas Apartments.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a wife, Patricia Parrish; a son, Clyde Milton Parrish, Jr., a daughter, Stacy Parrish; and a brother, Randall Parrish.

Jimmy Jennings of Panama City, FL
Sister: Kathy Phipps of Boissevain, VA
Special Friends: Regina Davis, Sue Brooks and Jerry Ellison
A memorial service to honor his life will be held on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 7:00 PM at the Pocahontas Baptist Church on Church Street in Pocahontas, VA with Rev. Bill Davis officiating.
Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service.
