Ethel Beatrice Farrington

Ethel Beatrice Farrington, age 88, of 912 Christie Avenue, Princeton, WV, passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born on September 1, 1923 in Maybeury, she was a daughter of the late James and Gracie Alice Lambert Dunford. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bower C. Farrington; a son, Earl Farrington; a brother, Junior Winford Dunford; and a sister, Shirley Mae Johnson. Survivors include: Son: Danny Farrington of McLeansville, NC Daughters: Betty Blevins of Princeton Ann Duggan of Princeton Linda Taylor and husband Dr. Donald K. Taylor of Bluefield, VA Melissa Noland and husband Clayton of Princeton Mary J. Farrington and partner Sheila Van Arsdol of Princeton 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren Brother: Bobby Dunford of Falls Church, VA Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Tracey Evans and Rev. Jackie Fitzko officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
