Matha Johnson obituary Matha Jean Johnson 51 years old of Maybeury, W.Va. went to be with Jesus and her mother July 17, 2012 at 1 A.M. in the morning. She was preceded in death by her father Russell Johnson and her mother Helen Mae Johnson, her grandparents Hobert and Artie Scott, Sarah and Jack Johnson. She is survived by her companion of32 years Colman Cope of Maybeury, W.Va. She is survived by three sisters Judy Johnson of Maybeury, Pamela Kaye Butler of Princeton, W.Va., Kathy Diane Gibson & companion Virgil Lambert of Pearisburg, Va. She is also survived by 2 brothers, Ricky Dean Johnson & wife Belvia of Sparta, N.C. & Ronnie Scott of Maybeury, W.Va. She is also survived by 3 uncles; a special nephew who she helped take care of Keith Johnson of Maybeury and neice Missy Saddler and 3 nephews Ricky Johnson, Jr., Eric and Duke Gibson of Sparta N.C. & Stanley Johnson of Anawalt, WVa. and great nephews and great nieces. Friends may call on Thursday 19 July, 2012 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M at Cravens Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell and one hour before services. Funeral service will be July 20, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the Cravens Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, W.Va. At her wishes, she will cremated following the service.
