Peggy Lane Lunsford

BLUEWELL — Peggy Lane Parks Lunsford, age 48, of Bluewell, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born on Sept. 28, 1963, she was a daughter of the late William D. and Ruth Blackwell Parks. She had been a lifelong resident of Bluefield. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jerome Lunsford. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, William (Billy) Lunsford of the home; three sons, Phillip Hylton and Sarah of Christiansburg, Va., Joshua Lunsford of Bluewell, and Adam Lunsford and Jessica of Glenwood; seven grandchildren, Andrew, Robbie, Kathrine, and Alex Hylton, all of Christiansburg, Va., and Savannah, Carlie, and Riley Lunsford of Glenwood; brothers, Claude Ratcliff and Donna; Donny Parks and Allen Parks, all of Bluefield; sisters, Debbie Dix and Don, Tammy Spangler and Robert, Jennifer Green and Robert, all of Bluefield; and sister-in-law, Debbie Lunsford. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Curtis Honaker officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Bluefield, Va. with nephews, Eric Parks, Jimbo Parks, Petey Parks, Joseph Bell, Claude Ratcliff Jr., and Douglas Day serving as pallbearers.
