Jacqueline "Jackie" Mitchem Williamson

BLUEFIELD, WV---Jacqueline “Jackie” Mitchem Williamson, age 82, of Bluewell, WV passed away Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born December 9, 1929 at Sagamore, WV she was the daughter of the late William “Bill” and Flossie Miller Mitchem. Mrs. Williamson was a resident of the Bluewell area for the past 6 years where she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a retired sales clerk and was a member of the Lorton Lick Baptist Church and will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William Mark Williamson who passed away September 2007; Four brothers, Junior, Clinton, Jimmy, and Johnny Mitchem; two sisters, Juanita Mitchem and Barbara Francis. Survivors include, One son, Kenneth Williamson, of Columbia, SC Two Daughters, Judy Sharpe of Princeton, WV Anita Burton of Rotonda, West, FL Two brothers, Robert and Milton Mitchem Two sisters, Jean Gaither and Betty Russell Eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 2012 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV with Rev. Shawn Bragg officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton, WV. Friends may call Saturday, July 7, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
