Bobby Demarcey

Bobby Demarcey, age 76, of 120 Savory Lane, Princeton and formerly of Maybeury and Bramwell, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at his residence. Born on March 19, 1936 in Maybeury, he was a son of the late Leon and Ora Green Demask. He was a retired coal miner, was a member of the UMWA, and was a truck driver. He was a veteran of the US Army and the National Guard. He was affiliated with the Maybeury United Methodist Church. Survivors include: Wife: Emily Snow Demarcey of Princeton 3 sons: Robert Demarcey of Bramwell David Demarcey of Sparta, NC Tommy Demarcey of High Point, NC 5 daughters: Beverly Shields and Seth of Charlotte, NC Tammy Fowler of Princeton Cathy Ward and Lamont of Lawrenceville, GA Linda Demarcey of Martinsville, VA Donna Walker and Dennis of Martinsville, NC 9 grandchildren 2 brothers: Don Demarcey of WA Jerry Demarcey of Maybeury 3 sisters: Lois Little of TN Hazel Miles of FL Myrtle Cook of FL Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Betty Shields officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with military honors being performed by the WV Honor Guard.
