Donald Ray Bowling 67 of 3017 Bluefield Ave. Bluefield, West Virginia passed away on Sunday, July 01, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Bowling was born on February 09, 1945 in Bluefield, West Virginia to the late Hubert L. Bowling and Jannie Hager Bowling. He has been a resident of Bluefield for most of his life and was a retired Brick Mason. Mr. Bowling served his country with the US Army. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his late wife Sandy Marcum. Survivors Include: Twos Sons: Darrell W. Dunn and wife Michele of Northfork, West Virginia Donald “Donnie” Bowling of Bramwell, West Virginia One Daughter: Marlena Marcum of Princeton, West Virginia One Brother: James “Jim” Bowling of Bluefield, West Virginia Two Sisters: Janet McGlothin of Bluefield, West Virginia Sue Johnson of Bluefield, Virginia Two Grandchildren: Raina LaFon and Ricky East Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 03, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia with Rev. Terry Wyatt officiating the funeral service. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, Virginia. Where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
