James Alan Davis

James (Jimmy) Alan Davis, age 61, of 327 Countryside Road, Princeton, WV, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at his home. Born on June 9, 1950 in Anawalt, he was a son of Helen May Hayes Davis of Princeton and the late Albert (Vick) Davis. He had been a resident of Princeton for 30 years and was a former mechanic and corrections officer. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Barry Davis. Survivors include: Wife: Linda Juanita Farmer Davis of Princeton Mother: Helen May Hayes Davis of Princeton Daughter: Heather Lynn Davis Dillon and husband Shane of Princeton Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. C. B. Shrader officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Saturday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
