Elsie Irene Taylor

Elsie Irene Taylor, age 85, of Montcalm, WV went to be with her LORD on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 while in Mercer Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born on February 15, 1927 in Crystal, WV to the late Ettie Smith O’Donnell and Shannon O’Donnell, she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry L. Taylor; a son, Leonard (Eddie) Taylor; a daughter (her little angel) Beverly (Sissy) Taylor; a brother, Ed O’Donnell; a sister, Zola Davis; and 2 great-granddaughters. Those left to cherish her memory include: Sons: Henry (Ponto) Taylor and wife Linda of Springville, VA Michael Taylor of the home Blair (DaDa ) Taylor and wife Diana of Montcalm, WV Daughter-in-Law: Debbie Taylor of Princeton, WV Brothers: Clayton O’Donnell of New Castle, DE Carl Wayne O’Donnell of Bradenton, FL 10 Grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Pastors Gene and Ronnie Kennett officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Serving as her pallbearers will be family and friends. Friends may call on Friday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
