Lucy Spinella

My journey has ended and all is “Well with my Soul” and I’m at peace with God. Lucy Spinella of P.O. Box 29 Maybeury, West Virginia (Switchback) lived a life of 96 years and was born in Wise, Virginia on Sunday, January 23, 1916 to the late Joseph and Mary Martin Spinella she was raised in a family of twelve. “Faithful was this servant of God, who lived a life” being a exhorter Minister in the Church of God since 1956, she was a member of the Maybeury Church of God for the past 79 years. She had been a resident of Switchback, West Virginia for most her life and had worked for G.C. Murphy Company for over forty years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters Josephine Bell and Jeanette Boyd and four brothers Frank, James, Tony and Joe Spinella. Survivors Include: Two Brothers: Charlie Spinella of Virginia Beach, Virginia Curtis Spinella and wife Nicki of Ghent, West Virginia Three Sisters: Maie Acord of Maybeury, West Virginia Kathleen Spinella of Maybeury, West Virginia Rose Osborne of Willis, Texas Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Maybeury Church of God with Rev. Kenneth Abram, Rev. Ronald Miller, Rev. Dovie Sexton and Ken Bogart officiating the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, West Virginia where men of the church will be serving as pallbearers. Friends and family may call at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia on Friday, May 11, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at Maybeury Church of God.
