Sarah Jane “Sue” Coburn 72 of 18790 Lloyd Drive Apt. 114 Dallas, Texas formerly of Bluewell, West Virginia passed away on Sunday, May 06, 2012 at her residence. Sue was born on Wednesday, May 24, 1939 in Wide Mouth, West Virginia to the late Jules Stassin and Fannie Spencer Stassin. Sue had been a resident of Dallas, Texas since 2008 and attended the First Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. Sue was a former employee of Western Sizzlin in Bluefield, West Virginia. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers Matthew Stassin and Garnet Stassin. Left to cherish her memory is: Her husband: Marvin “Buck” Coburn of the home One Son: Edward Preston Bailey of Dallas, Texas Two Daughters: Teresa Sue Laurence and husband Danny of Bluefield, West Virginia Angela Kaye Alamet and husband Jake of Dallas, Texas One Brother: Jules Stassin of Bluefield, West Virginia Two Sisters: Gertrude Smith and husband Roy of Bluefield, West Virginia Virginia Stevenson of Winston-Salem, North Carolina Three (3) Grandchildren Eight Step Grandchildren and one great step grandhild Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia with Rev. Charles Bowling officiating the service. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, Virginia where friends and family will be serving as pallbearers.
