Lillie Virginia Graham

Lillie Virginia Graham, age 95, of 105 Highland Avenue, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born on December 13, 1916 in McDowell County, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Martha Bishop Church. She had been a resident of Anawalt for most of her life and was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred Ernest Mitchell; her second husband, Harry Franklin Graham; 3 sons, Donald Tolley, Howard Mitchell, and Freddy Mitchell; a daughter, Nancy Romine; 1 brother, Kelley Milam; and 3 sisters, Della Bishop, Goldie Debb and Mary Hughes. She was the last surviving member of her family. Survivors include: 2 sons: Jesse Mitchell and wife Debbie of Princeton Lewis Mitchell of Princeton 4 daughters: Ethel Hatfield and husband Emmett of Bluefield Gracie Burks and husband Fairley of Princeton Shirley Garrett of Sevierville, TN Lois Jean Hurley of Princeton Many grandchildren and great grandchildren Her yorkie, “Little Bit” Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 23, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. James Bassett, Rev. Larry White, and Captain Jerry Lester officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Friends may call on Monday from 12:00-1:00 at the funeral home.
