Valerie Casey

Valerie Marie Casey, age 65, of 149 Sweet Tea Court, Princeton, passed away on Friday, March 30, 2012 at Charleston Area Medical Center Memorial Division. Born on March 13, 1947 in Windmill Gap, she was a daughter of the late Paul E. and Marie Ball Sexton. She had been a resident of Princeton for 10 years and was a member of the Princeton Church of God. She formerly worked for 13 years as a CNA at Cumberland Care in Bluefield. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Eugene Casey, Sr.; three step-sons, Billy E. Casey, Jr., Wallace and Ricky Casey; and a brother, Mark Sexton. Survivors include: 4 daughters: Nicole Casey and Robert “Boo” of Princeton Virginia Casey Symns of Princeton Paula Casey Hoston and Paul of Princeton Cindy Casey James and John of Greensboro, NC Stepson: Douglas Casey and Diane of Bluefield 7 grandchildren: Eric Casey, Ashley Symns, Donnell Kulick, Preston Johnson, Tommy “Jr.” Symns, Kendra Sturdivant, Rashaun Casey 3 great grandchildren: Ja’Zariah Johnson, Ayden Adams, DeAundre Symns Brother: Paul Sexton and wife Doris of Princeton 3 sisters: Connie Gilbert and husband Thomas of Windmill Gap Bernice Lusk of Bluewell Louise Sexton of Montcalm Special friends and caregivers at CAMC Memorial Division in Charleston Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, March 30, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Princeton Church of God, 250 Oakvale Road, Princeton, with Rev. Fred Farley officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where nephews and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Monday from 11:00-1:00 at the church.
