Hattie Maude Day

Hattie Maude Day, age 75, of 133 Indian Grave Road, Leckie, WV, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at the residence of her daughter in Anawalt. Born on June 16, 1936, she was a daughter of Ellis and Katie Brown Anders. She had been a resident of the Anawalt and Leckie areas for most of her life and was a homemaker. She was of the Holiness faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Day; 3 brothers, 4 sisters. Survivors include: Daughter with whom she made her home: Pamela Huff and husband Brian of Anawalt 3 sons: James Day of Anawalt Alan Day and special caregiver Charlotte Turner of Leckie Gary Day of Gary 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren 1 sister: Mary Sizemore of OH Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Donnie Farmer and Rev. Mary Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
