Kenneth Ray Shrader

Kenneth Ray “Gomer” Shrader, age 56, of 1134 Old Athens Road, Princeton, WV, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born on August 28, 1955 in Sandlick, he was a son of the late Carl Cletus and Kathlene Gay Brown Shrader. He had been a resident of Princeton for 40 years and was of the Baptist faith. He attended Montcalm High School and served in the US Marines from 1974-76. He was a coal miner and worked in Itman for several years before working at Crane Creek for 7 years. He was retired with 26 years from the City of Princeton as a street sweeper. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a grandson, Austin Shrader Dunn; and a son in law, Shawn Dunn. Left to cherish his memory: Stepmother: Cynthia Osborne of Princeton 2 daughters: Brenda (Tiny) Shrader Dunn Dixon of Princeton Rebecca (Becky) Shrader Kade and husband Larry of Sandlick 3 grandchildren: Brianna Dunn of Glenwood Hunter and Marley Kade of Sandlick Brother: Darrell Shrader of Montcalm 1 sister: Carol Lester of Princeton 2 stepbrothers: Phillip Bailey and Lacy Bailey 1 stepsister: Paula Bailey of MD Special friend: Vickie Musick of Princeton He was called Paw -Paw by several children and was loved by everyone who knew him Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev.
