ANAWALT — Lawrence Haller “Larry” Coe, 61, of P.O. Box 235, Anawalt, W.Va. passed away on Friday, Feb. 24, 2012 at his home after a long illness. Larry was born on Friday, July 14, 1950 in Conklintown, W.Va. to Mrs. Pauline Hundley Coe and the late Eulas Haller Coe. Mr. Coe had been a resident of Anawalt for his entire life and was a retired Coal miner. He attended the Conklintown Church of God. He was a member of the UMWA. Lawrence was a loving husband, father and grandfather. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James E. and Reba Hardy Coe; and maternal grandparents, William H. and Effie Mae Hundley. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Virginia Coe of the home; his mother, Pauline Hundley Coe of Conklintown, W.Va.; two daughters, Kimberly Taylor and husband, Charles of Conklintown, W.Va., Lisa Coe of Jenkinjones, W.Va.; three brothers, James Coe and wife, Wanda of Bluewell, W.Va., Paul (Eddie) Coe and wife, Patsy of Conklintown, W.Va., Terry Coe and wife, Mary of Abbs Valley, Va.; four sisters, Judy Farmer and husband, Donnie of Green Valley, W.Va., Pamela Coe of Conklintown, W.Va., Tammy Dillon and husband, Donald of Conklintown, W.Va., Kathy Fowler and husband, Ralph of Thorpe, W.Va.; four grandchildren, special granddaughter, Sarah Jean Taylor, Edward Howard Cox III, Zoey Marie Rose, Joseph Alexander Rose; and special caregivers, Charles and Krist Haines. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, W.Va. with the Reverend Jim Coe Sr. and the Reverend Donald Farmer Jr. officiating the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, W.Va. where Eulas Coe, John Coe, Paul Coe Jr., Donald Dillion Jr., Dustin Coe, and Rodney Fowler will serve as pallbearers and Jim St. Clair will serve as Honorary pallbearer. Friends and family may call on Monday, Feb. 27, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, W.Va.
