Willa Mae “Pete” Gabris 94 of Cherrywood Lane Bluefield, West Virginia passed away on Tuesday, February 07, 2012 at The Maples in Bluefield, West Virginia. Willa was born on Monday, November 19, 1917 in Mercer County, West Virginia to the late Robert S. and Sarah Mills Little. Willa had been a resident of Bluefield for the past 56 years and member of the Maybeury United Methodist Church in Maybeury, West Virginia and attended Nazarene Church in Bluefield, West Virginia. She retired from the Green Stamp Store where she was manager. After her retirement she enjoyed doing volunteer work at St. Luke’s Hospital, The American Red Cross and The Maples. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Rudolph Gabris, four sisters Lelia Newman, Allie Little, Ruby Runion and Beulah Little. Survivors include: Two Sons: Robert J. Gabris and Mary Evelyn of Salem, Virginia David Gabris and wife Patty of Vinton, Virginia Special Caregivers: Niece Harriett Brown and Friend Patsy Sykes Seven Grandchildren and Eleven Great Grandchildren Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia where Rev. Gary Jakes will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Princeton, West Virginia where Bill Kosinar, Robert Shanlin, Skip Brown, Dwayne Brown, Wilford Mathena and Kevin Brown will serve as pallbearers. Friends and family may call at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home on Saturday, February 11, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m
