Oren P. Shrader

Bluefield- Oren P. Shrader, 90, of Rt. 1 Box 404 Littlesburg Rd., Bluefield, WV died Friday January 20, 2012 at a Princeton, WV hospital. Born December 2, 1921 Bluewell, WV, he was the son of the late Allen and Bertie Mae Mitchell Shrader. Mr. Shrader was a member of New Salem United Methodist Church and had been a resident of Bluewell, WV all of his life, was a veteran of WW II having served in the U.S Army and was a retired construction worker. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers;Kenneth Shrader, Freeman Shrader and Lewis Shrader, three sisters;Osie Saddler, Exie Lynch and Laura Lynch. Survivors include his wife of 61 years; Mary Kathleen “Kackie” Lynch Shrader of the home, and special care givers; Larry and Brenda Mitchem of Rt.1 Bluefield, WV. Funeral services for Mr. Shrader will be conducted Monday January 23, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with the Rev. Mike Smith officiating. Burial will follow at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery located in Princeton, WV. Serving the family as pallbearers will be; Bobby Turner, Chris Mitchem, John Barnett, Greg Barnett, Mark Lynch, and Brad Turner, and two honorary pallbearers; Kenny Billings and Randy Dove.
